Are demo versions available for Mindspark’s software products?
Mindspark doesn’t have special demo versions of its software because our free downloads are completely functional. Some key parameters will be limited (see Grades2Go™ Desktop Specs), but you will otherwise be able to evaluate Grades2Go™ for as long as you want. Purchase of an Activation Code removes all limitations for the duration of the subscription. More info can be found at the Online Store.
Can Grades2Go™ Desktop be used without a mobile Android device?
Absolutely, although a mobile Android device extends the power of Grades2Go™ Desktop to your pocket or purse 24/7!
Can Grades2Go™ Mobile for Android be used without Grades2Go™ Desktop?
Not initially. Grades2Go™ Desktop and Grades2Go™ Sync are required to install the core databases and synchronize desktop data. However, once this is done and all student rosters are downloaded, the mobile device can function on its own (until the next synchronization)
Will Grades2Go™ Mobile be available for the iPhone?
Perhaps, depending on demand.
Will I have to keep buying software updates?
No. Downloads of latest software and apps are always free.
What happens when my Activation Codes expire? Do I lose access to my data?
No, access to data is never lost. If an Activation Code expires, your ability to view existing data and create reports will be unaffected. However, key parameters will again be limited, as if you had no Code. An expired Mobile Activation Code will make synchronization revert to download-only. As soon as you purchase and enter a new Activation Code, full operation will resume.
Can Grades2Go™ data files be shared by more than one user?
Yes. Once created, Grades2Go™ school and student databases can be used by more than one user at the same school. Files can be shared with others by email or hosted on a school server (contact Mindspark for details on server hosting).
